Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur

I was recently hired to photograph an event were Dr. Leila Fawaz was named Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur by the President of the French Republic. One of my images was also published in the daily Al-Anwar newspaper in Lebanon. Here are a few favorites as well as the newspaper tear sheet!

Kim and Brian tied the knot May 12, 2012 on the Salem Common and held their reception at the Hawthorne Hotel. It was a perfect day for a wedding and the weather couldn’t have cooperated any better. Congratulations Kim & Brian! Here are just a few of my favorites from their big day.

Chyten Portrait Shoot

A month ago I spent the day photographing some environmental portraits for Chyten Educational Services, a premium tutoring and test preparation company. I’m very excited to see the full article and some of my photographs in the upcoming July 2012 issue of the Small Business Opportunities magazine!

Over the past month I’ve had the privilege of photographing some pretty cool people for a portrait series project I was hired for. I’ll be excited to share some of the photographs once the project is published, but until then I leave you with some outtakes and behind the scenes pictures…

A Happy Cobbler

A few weeks back I spent the day with 72-year-old Misak Ayanyan who has owned Hollywood Shoe Repair in Burlington, MA. for 18 years. Ayanyan, who didn’t speak any English, immigrated to America from Armenia in 1980 to carry on the tradition he learned from his father when he was 13 years old. During my time spent with Ayanyan, I noticed he was an extremely hard worker and very happy. I’m excited to share some of my pictures and an audio slideshow with sound by the amazing John Walker.

Johnny On The Spot

Today was an extremely busy “spot news” day at the newspaper. I started off my morning photographing a single-vehicle crash on Route 495 North in Littleton where the victim was transported by Boston Medflight to Boston Medical Center. My mid-afternoon chasing a large brush fire that caused significant damage in the Justin/Bernard Conservation area in Lexington. And my afternoon at a two-alarm fire at 43 Franklin Street in Woburn.

Here are a few selects from the afternoon…
